ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE
Through archaeological evidence, Bill Fitzhugh and Sven Haakanson have been tracing the migration of native peoples across Siberia to the North American continent. Scientists worldwide have debated the origin and use of the stones unearthed in Yakutsk.

Yuri Machonov believes that the smooth rocks he has found were used as tools by primitive man. Others doubt his claims, noting that the stones are not chipped or altered in any way. Still others remain intrigued by Machonov's findings.
