Our team broke up and headed for home. Bill
Fitzhugh returned to Washington, D.C., to share his findings with
colleagues at the Smithsonian. Expedition leader Shane Lundgren headed
for a warm Oregon homecoming, and photographer Marc Bryan-Brown is
back in New York City. Writer Bill Gasperini
returns to Moscow. Sven Haakanson will be pursuing research with
the Smithsonian Institute's Arctic Studies Center.
